Happy Saturday!
I thought I would answer some quick questions about everything Entertainment (seeing as I'm a complete nerd and could happily sit and do this all day).
Music
Best concert you've attended: Kate Nash at Shepherd's Bush Empire in 2017. Or Joss Stone, at the same venue about 7 years ago.
What is your musical background? I was more of a Musical Theatre performer than a Musician originally but I took guitar lessons at the age of 11. Then, at about age 13 I got more heavily into music and started singing. I have an A-Level in Music, a Diploma in Musical Theatre and a BA Hons Degree in Music and Dance. I've also played the drums for about 6 years and am just about decent enough with a piano to write some songs.
What would be the theme song for a show about you? Something sassy and upbeat. First thing that came to mind is 'Whole Lotta Woman' by Kelly Clarkson (which is even funnier because I'm only 5ft).
Apple Music or Spotify? Apple Music (possibly because I've never tried the paid version of Spotify and the free one is so annoying).
What songs remind you of your childhood? My Dad used to play Lauryn Hill - That Thing all the time around the house which is my earliest musical memory. I think I was about 4 at the time.
How broad is your music taste? It really couldn't be any broader. I could skip from Eminem to an obscure Indie singer to Classical music to Acoustic Folk to Hip-Hop and everything in between.
What's the last song you listened to? Clumsy Card House by Blue October.
Favourite album cover: Comfort of Strangers and Souled Out (below)

Do you keep memorabilia or momentos? I collect Musical Theatre programmes and both artist and show t-shirts. I also keep all of my gig and theatre tickets and own a few posters. The coolest momento I own is an ABBA guitar pick.
What would you compare your own songs to? If Anna Nalick and Birdy teamed up and had a baby with a less angsty Alanis Morissette, probably that.
Which is your least favourite genre of music? I love all genres but heavy metal or anything with screaming in definitely isn't my thing.
Name a singer/band that you think is overrated: Nicki Minaj. She makes some bops but I don't think she's that good of a rapper, in all honesty.
Who is your guilty pleasure in music? There's a rapper called Cupcakke... If you know, you know.
Film and TV
Favourite actress: Meryl Streep.

She's my idol. I'm literally obsessed with her. The picture above is case and point.
What would be your dream role in a TV show or film? I love to play really intense, badass women so Lucy Spiller from Dirt would be amazing. Definitely a character that's multifaceted, heavy and challenging, or somebody charismatic like Lorelai Gilmore. Oh, and I really like playing stupid, comedic roles too.
What's the best film you've seen in the past year? Ladybird really touched me. That's one of my favourites already and I've only seen it once.
What TV or film character do you think you're most like? I get compared to Juno a lot - probably because I'm small and strange and have weird catchphrases. I think I'm a good mix of the two Gilmore Girls also.
What TV shows should be on Netflix UK? Scrubs, Greys Anatomy, 30 Rock... the list is endless.
Are there any actors/actresses that you can't stand? Sarah Jessica Parker. I find her so irritating (yet I love Sex and the City, which is inconvenient to say the least)
What's the worst film you've seen in the past year? Jigsaw. It didn't even make sense! It was so awful that it's actually come full circle and makes me happy because it makes me laugh so much.
What TV show or film does everybody likes that you dislike? I struggled with Inception and I've watched Breaking Bad like 5 times now and still don't get the hype.
Fiction or Documentary: I love both but Documentaries do make me super excited.
What film do you want to see next? I still haven't seen 'The Shape of Water' so definitely that.
Dance
What's your favourite style of dance to perform? Jazz, Commercial or Contemporary.
What's your favourite style of dance to watch? Ballet or Contemporary.
When did you start dancing? I always danced for shows and had dance lessons for Musical Theatre but I first took straight-up dance lessons when I was around 14.
What song makes you want to dance the most? Into You - Ariana Grande. Every single time.
What dancers do you admire? I think Maddie Ziegler is incredible and it's been amazing to follow her career and successes and see how her dancing is changing.
Favourite choreographer: Brian Friedman is constantly amazing. Or Jojo Gomez.
What's the best part of dancing? Feeling like a different person and feeling powerful and free.
Books
Who is your favourite author? Jodi Picoult. I love a moral dilemma and a book that makes you think. I also love crime and court cases which is probably why she's my favourite author as her books always incorporate these things. I'm also a big Shakespeare nerd.
What is your favourite book and why?
Nineteen Minutes (Jodi Picoult). I find the subject matter (it's about a school shooter) really interesting and every time I read it, I feel mind blown.

What's the most recent book that you read?
'He Said She Said' by Erin Kelly. It was a great read - very intense with a lot of little twists along the way.
What are you reading at the moment? Bossypants, which is Tina Fey's autobiography. She's probably the funniest person on the planet.
What was your favourite book as a child? I used to love all of Jacqueline Wilson's books and the Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging series. I loved Stormcatchers by Tim Bowler and re-read that so many times, even though it scared the hell out of me . Obviously, the Harry Potter books too.
Which genre is your favourite? I like crime/mystery books or ones that feature court cases but I like them to have other things in, too. I like a book that will really make me think.
What is your favourite Shakespeare play? King Lear.
Musical Theatre
What is your dream role in a musical? Maureen in Rent, Penny in Hairspray or Velma Kelly in Chicago.
Favourite Musical Theatre performer: Idina Menzel
What was the first musical you saw? Blood Brothers, on a school trip.
Favourite song from a musical: Take Me or Leave Me / Seasons of Love from Rent.
What was the last show that you saw? Chicago.
What's the next show you want to see? I've been trying to see School of Rock for a while but haven't gotten around to it.
Thanks for reading! Apologies if you're a Sarah Jessica Parker fan*
*Not really. Come on, you know I'm right.
